Scope of Practice – CGP’s Business Profile

CGP Legal Office offers the traditional scope of legal services rendered by attorneys and legal advisors, in particular legal representation in court disputes, preparing legal opinions and representation in administrative and tax proceedings as well as permanent legal assistance, enforcement of property claims, preparation of draft contracts and other legal documents.

We render services to clients irrespective of the scale and character of their activities, therefore dealing with the full breadth of legal issues - ranging from protecting the interests of individuals in civil, family, labor and social insurance cases, to providing comprehensive legal service to local government units and other atypical legal persons.

Our services are provided on the basis of a power of attorney and a contract concluded with the client and include in particular:
• legal advising and consultations,
• preparing comprehensive legal opinions based on supplied documentation,
• preparing drafts of letters, applications and motions to be filed with public authorities,
• preparing drafts of agreements and contracts as well as negotiating their terms,
• advising on, and participation in business negotiations,
• analysis and evaluation of legal risk resulting from contracts prepared by third parties,
• conducting negotiations or providing legal assistance during negotiations,
• legal representation in all court disputes, especially in cases related to commercial, civil or labor law,
• representation in proceedings to secure claims and enforcement proceedings,
• preparing documents establishing business entities, especially commercial law companies, providing comprehensive services to persons commencing or extending their business activity:
- conducting registration proceedings for business entities, including preparation of all necessary documentation and filing them with appropriate public authorities,
- preparing internal organization documents for business entities (e.g. work regulations, remuneration regulations, by-laws for Management Board and Supervisory Board as well as other internal documents of an enterprise, also those regarding holders of commercial power of attorney, plenipotentiaries and business representatives),
- counseling on investment and real property, also regarding construction projects, purchase and sale,
- preparing and opining proposals for business entities regarding restructuring and ownership transformations, carrying out such restructuring activities,
- obtaining permits necessary for conducting state-regulated activities.
